Find the interaction worth building around
We start with the core loop: what the player does, what changes and why they want to try again. A small playable prototype can reveal more about a mechanic than a large feature list. Controls, pacing and feedback are tested together.
Our own products explore different kinds of interaction. Looplings uses chain reactions in a puzzle, icallon builds on a timed word game, and ando turns everyday group decisions into shared-screen play. These are studio projects at different stages of development.
Connect rules, controls and presentation
A game needs clear feedback about what is happening and what is possible next. We work through touch or pointer controls, readable game states, animation and sound requirements, progression and recovery after mistakes.
For simulations, the model and its assumptions need to be understandable. Touchline explores football tactics through simulated matches. For storytelling, Sage Engine focuses on dialogue, scene direction and choices. The form follows the experience rather than a fixed technology checklist.
Scope a playable release with room to learn
We agree target platforms, the initial content set, performance needs and the systems required for a first release. A vertical slice can test the main experience before investing in a larger collection of levels, modes or assets.
Art, audio, online services, content production and platform submission can be substantial parts of a game project. We identify what is included, what needs a specialist contribution and who owns each dependency before the build expands.
THE WORK, MADE TANGIBLE
What we can deliver.
- Core loop and interaction design
- Playable prototype or scoped vertical slice
- Controls, player interface and feedback states
- Platform and performance plan
- Content roadmap and implementation handover
We agree the deliverables, ownership, budget and release responsibilities in your project scope.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
A few useful answers.
Can we start with a prototype?
Yes. A prototype is often the right way to test a mechanic or control scheme before committing to a full game.
Are your upcoming games available to download?
Only availability explicitly shown on a product page should be treated as current. Products labelled in development have no announced release date on this site.
Do you build experiences beyond conventional games?
Yes. The scope can include interactive storytelling, simulations, creator tools and spatial or immersive prototypes. We assess the specific platform and content requirements during discovery.
