Start with the decision, then the feature list
Before choosing a technology or drawing a screen, we work through the audience, the problem and the behaviour you want to change. Which task is difficult today? What would persuade someone to switch? What evidence would make the next investment worthwhile? These questions become the basis of the scope.
Discovery can include stakeholder workshops, a review of existing research, user journeys and interviews where access is available. We separate what is known from what still needs testing, so uncertainty stays visible.
A scope you can explain and a prototype you can test
We map the core journey, identify essential features and put the rest into a later-release backlog. A prototype helps you test the flow before paying to build every interaction. We agree acceptance criteria for the first release and flag dependencies such as payment providers, data access or app-store accounts.
You receive a prioritised roadmap, an agreed design direction and a delivery plan. If the idea needs more validation, the next step may be a smaller experiment rather than a full application.
Design, build and learn in working increments
Design and engineering stay connected throughout the build. Working demos let you review actual behaviour, not only progress reports. Before release we check the important journeys, error states, permissions, accessibility and performance for the agreed devices.
We work with UK clients and international teams remotely. Budgets are discussed in pounds, with scope and delivery assumptions documented before work begins. Timing depends on the product, integrations and decisions involved; we do not promise the same schedule for every MVP.
THE WORK, MADE TANGIBLE
What we can deliver.
- Discovery findings and a record of assumptions
- Prioritised MVP scope and user journeys
- Interactive prototype and interface designs
- Tested first release with a launch checklist
- Code, documentation and a next-release backlog
We agree the deliverables, ownership, budget and release responsibilities in your project scope.
BEFORE WE BEGIN
A few useful answers.
Do I need a technical specification first?
No. Bring the problem, your audience and any research or sketches you already have. Discovery can turn those inputs into a practical specification.
How is an MVP budget agreed?
We review the core journeys, integrations, platform requirements and delivery risks before proposing a scope. The budget ranges in our enquiry form are planning prompts, not published package prices.
Can you join an existing product?
Yes. We can review the current experience and codebase, identify a useful next release and agree a focused design or engineering engagement.
